Why Bright Sparrow Learning Center?
- We are a parent led private micro-school. We respect all inputs, ideas, and opinions from our parent community for continuous improvement.
- The curriculum is focused on individualized learning and students are encouraged to set their educational goals.
- In addition to core academics, we focus on practical life skills in order for our students to grow into adults with skills necessary to be independent and knowledgeable to survive in the real world.
- Once a month, Enrichment Classes are scheduled where we invite instructors to teach the students in various topics such as mindfulness, First Aid, growing food, financial literacy,etc. More classes are currently planned.
- The school is located inside Flamingos Sports Club - we have PE (soccer, waterpolo and other sport depending on season and weather) and swimming weekly, in addition to weekly arts class.
- We have a wonderful retired Canadian school teacher of 30+ years, who is the advisor to the parent board and is the Education Mentor.
- If you are looking for your child to continue and excel in the English language, then you are in the right place as English is the primary form of instruction with Spanish as the second language taught daily.
- No daily uniform is required as we believe our children are unique and independent and should be given the space to express their individuality and creativity.
